Men's Soccer Shut Out at Canisius

Three second-half goals helped lift Canisius past the Central Connecticut men's soccer team, 4-0, on Sunday in Buffalo, NY. The loss drops CCSU to 2-3 on the season.

Canisius opened the in the 36th minute when Alex Grattarola scored an unassisted goal to make it 1-0.
The Golden Griffins added to the lead in the 78th minute off a header from Grattarola. Bjarkl Benediktsson assisted.
Canisius scored twice in the final 3:03 to round out the scoring.
Junior Carson D'Ambrosio made four saves for the Blue Devils in goal and Marco Trivellato made five stops for Canisius. The shots were, 14-13, in favor of Canisius.
