Men's Soccer Adds Two For 2017
The Blue Devils announced the addition of Nate Howard and Ryan De Lello.
Head coach Shaun Green and the Central Connecticut men's soccer team have announced the addition of two student-athletes for the 2017 season. Nate Howard and Ryan De Lello will bolster a talented and experienced core of Blue Devils returnees.

Nate Howard | GK | Manchester HS
A talented goalkeeper from Manchester High School in Connecticut, Howard was a team captain and led Manchester to its best record in 12 years with a 9-3-4 record, which included seven shutouts... He was selected to the Class LL All-Star team and also played in the Connecticut Senior Bowl...A two-time All-Conference selection and Player of the Year...Currently plays for CFC United, which were runners up for the national club champions in 2016.
Head Coach Shaun Green on Howard - "We are very fortunate that Nate has decided to play at CCSU. We have watched him play for several years and our staff feels he is going to be an exceptional division one goalkeeper. Nate is an outstanding person and we are all looking forward to him joining our program this fall."
A talented midfielder from Wamogo Regional High School in Litchfield, Connecticut...Team captain of his high school team and CFC United club team...CFC United took second-place in the Connecticut State Cup finals in both 2014 and 2015 seasons...Helped CFC United to a runner-up finish at the 2016 National Championship...Played with CFC Gunners for two years and SoccerPlus Premier for four years prior to CFC United...Was voted "Peer Leader" during his sophomore year for his role in mentoring students with special needs, an honor that is usually reserved for seniors.
