Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Northeast Conference Championships
Three Blue Devils finish in the top-20
Three Central Connecticut men's golfers finished in the top-20 as the Blue Devils finished fifth at the 2017 Northeast Conference men's golf championship on Sunday. The Blue Devils posted a team score of 306 on Sunday to finish with a three-day total of 925, good for fifth place.
Junior Brandon Raine finished in a tie for 11th place overall after shooting a 78 on Sunday and finishing with a 228 (+12) for the weekend.
Freshman Drew Aitken also shot a 78 on Sunday and finished in a tie for 13th place overall with a score of 229 (+13).
Senior Nick Direda finished his career with the Blue Devils with a top-20 finish in the tournament. He shot 75 on Sunday and finished at 232 (+16), tied for 19th place overall.
Freshman Arthur Ouimet shot 75 on Sunday and finished with a score of 236 in a tie for 26th place overall. Senior Matthew Mahlke shot 84 on Sunday and finished at 250, good for 40th place.
