Mullen Ties for Sixth at TDID Collegiate
Blue Devils finish in 11th place
Senior Monte Mullen fired a second round score of 72 and finished in a tie for sixth place overall after the second and final round of the Til Duty Is Done Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Connecticut on Sunday. The tournament took place at Lake of Isles Country Club.
Mullen's round of even par was the seventh best round of the entire second round. He shot 76 on Saturday and finished with a two-round total of 148 (+4) to tie for sixth place.
The Blue Devils took 10 strokes off of their first round total and shot 310 on Sunday to finish in 11th place overall. The University of Hartford won the team title.
Sophomore Matt Hills shot 78 on the second day and finished at 155 (+11) to finish in a tie for 25th place overall. Classmate Bryant Bolden shot an 81 and finished at +17, good for a tie for 52nd place.
Freshman Anthony Sebastianelli took eight strokes off of his round one score and shot 79 on Sunday, putting him at 166 for the tournament and a tie for 75th place. Sophomore Nick Direda shot 82 on Sunday, five strokes better than Saturday, and finished in 81st place with a 169.
