Men's Golf Picked Fourth in NEC Coaches Poll
Open season March 9 at Lonnie Barton Invitational in Daytona Beach
The Central Connecticut men's golf team was picked to finish fourth in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coach Poll released on Monday. The Blue Devils received one first place vote in the poll.

Robert Morris was picked first in the poll and received six first place votes. Defending champion Bryant was picked second and had one first place vote, followed by Fairleigh Dickinson in third, with another of the first place votes.
Central was fourth, followed by St. Francis U and Sacred Heart in a tie for fifth, LIU Brooklyn, Wagner and St. Francis Brooklyn rounded out the field.
Led by senior Monte Mullen, who finished fourth at the NEC Championships in 2014, and sophomore Matt Hills, who won the NEIGA Individual Division I title in the fall, the Blue Devils will begin their Spring season at the Lonnie Barton Invitational in Daytona Beach.
The Blue Devils will also play at the Wildcat Invitational in Malvern, PA on Mar. 30-31, the Lafayette Spring Invitational on Apr. 5-6, the Northeast Invitational at the Mohegan Country Club on Apr. 11-12 before heading back to LPGA International for the 2015 NEC Championships on May 1-3.
