Men's Golf 12th After Two Rounds
The Central Connecticut men's golf team currently sits in 12th place after two rounds of The Doc Gimmler Tournament hosted by St. John's University on The Red Course of Bethpage in Farmingdale, NY.

As a team CCSU shot 580 over the first two rounds of play. The Blue Devils totaled 288 strokes in round one and followed with 292 in the second.
The Blue Devils were led on day one by freshman Anthony Sebastianelli who posted 142 strokes over the opening two rounds. Sebastianelli fired a 70 in the opening round this morning and then followed with a 72 in the afternoon trip. He is currently tied for 22nd on the individual leader board.
Sophomore Matt Hills was close behind with a 71, 72 day. His 143 strokes put him in a tie for 28th heading into Saturday's final round.
Senior Monte Mullen totaled 146 strokes on day one with a 72 in the first round and an afternoon score of 74. He will enter play tomorrow tied for 44th.
Junior Connor Murphy posted a 149 (75-74) and sophomore Bryant Bolden a 158 (81-77) to round out the Blue Devil squad.
Yale currently leads the field with a total of 551 strokes. The Bulldogs shot 279 in the opening round then fired a 272 in the afternoon.
Army (553) and Loyola University of Maryland (558) are close behind Yale in the team standings.
Matt Oshrine of Loyola shot a 129 (64-65) to take a five shot lead into the third and final round.
The tournament will finish with Saturday's third round.
