Amos Earns All-NEC Men's Basketball Honors

Amos led the Blue Devils in scoring in his first season with the program, posting 14.1 points per game which ranked eighth in the league. He made 2.0 three-pointers per game, and shot 45.4% from the field on the year, which ranked fifth and eighth among league leaders, respectively. In league play, Amos scored 14.3 points per game, grabbed 3.1 rebounds, while shooting 44% percent from the field and 37% from the three-point arc. Amos also compiled a league-high 36 dunks during the season and ranked among the top 15 in the NEC in seven stats categories.
A two-time NEC Player of the Week and five-time Prime Performer, Amos scored 10-or more points in 22 games, including seven 20-point games. At UMass in the season-opener, he scored a career-high 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting, including four three-pointers. He had a career-high 36 points against St. Francis Brooklyn on Dec. 31 and was 6-of-6 on three-pointers. He became the first player in the nation since 2013 to post two games in one season with at least six three-pointers without a miss. Amos was also 6-of-6 on three-pointers at Manhattan in a 20-point game.
Amos and the Blue Devils will open the NEC Tournament against third-seeded Saint Francis U on Wednesday night in Loretto, PA.
