Kellen Amos led CCSU with 18 points to pace three Blue Devils in double-figures, but CCSU shot just 21-of-64 (.328) from the field overall, and 7-of-27 (.259) from three-point range. Central was 6-of-6 (1.000) from the foul line.
Jalen Rucker led three Black Knights in double-figures with 18 points. Army was 23-of-46 (.500) from the field and 8-of-23 (.348) from three-point range. The Black Knights went 12-of-18 (.667) from three-point range.
The Blue Devils close out non-conference play on Thursday night at Saint Joseph's.

- Jay Rodgers would score five early points for CCSU and put the Blue Devils ahead, 7-4, but that was their last lead of the night. Coleton Benson tied the game with a three-pointer and opened a spurt of eight unanswered points to put Army in front, 12-7, and give it a lead it would not surrender.
- The Blue Devils would got scoreless for almost five minutes before Kellen Amos hit a three-pointer with 13:08 left in the half. He would account for 10 straight points for Central. A three-pointer by Kyle Rocker would tie the game at 20-20 midway through the period.
- A Jared Cross three-pointer for Army would spark a 13-0 run pushing the Black Knights to their largest lead of the half at 38-23. Central would rally with the last seven points of the period, capped off by a trey from Rodgers as time expired to make it 38-20 at the break.
- The Blue Devils were kept at a distance for the opening minutes of the second half as Army went basket-for-basket with the hosts. Seven quick points put Army head 54-38 with 11:04 left for its largest lead of the night.
