CCSU to Hold Virtual Tip-Off for Basketball Season *REGISTRATION CLOSED*

The CCSU men's and women's basketball teams will be holding a Virtual Tip-Off Event for the 2020-21 season scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m. The online event will give participants the chance to learn about the Blue Devils' programs from head coaches Donyell Marshall and Kerri Reaves heading into the upcoming season. Registration is required to participate in the event.

"As we get ready to begin a truly unique season, this evening will give us a chance to engage with our outstanding fans," said Interim Director of Athletics Tom Pincince.

VIRTUAL TIP-OFF REGISTRATION CLOSED

The evening will include Pincince, as well as, Marshall and Reaves.

Marshall is set to enter his fifth season at the helm of the Blue Devils' men's program. Central is slated to return four starters, in addition to seven of its top eight scorers.

"We are looking forward to this season and have an experienced group to keep us in the mix of the Northeast Conference," said Marshall.

Reaves will begin her first season in charge of the CCSU women's program, while embarking on her 14th season overall with the program. The Blue Devils will be led by a trio of returning senior starters (Ashley Berube, Ashley Forker and Emma McCamus). The trio also led the Blue Devils in scoring last season.

"Our team is really excited to begin playing this season and has done a great job of preparing and getting ready to be successful," said Reaves.
