The Central Connecticut men's basketball team is back in action on Saturday, hosting Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. in a game set to broadcast on ESPN3. The Blue Devils host a basketball doubleheader with the CCSU women playing Bryant at 1:00 p.m. Central will honor members of the CCSU Alumni Athletics Hall of Fame in attendance and former head coach Howie Dickenman at halftime of the men's game as he was selected to the Northeast Conference Hall of Fame on Jan. 31.
The Blue Devils are 12-14 overall and 5-8 in the Northeast Conference. The Pioneers are 8-18 overall and 3-10 in NEC play. The teams met on Feb. 3 at the Pitt Center, with SHU coming away with a 67-54 win.
Tickets for CCSU home games can be purchased at CCSUTickets.com or at the box office upon entry to Kaiser Hall and Detrick Gymnasium. Admission for all CCSU students, faculty and staff is free of charge with a valid Blue Chip card.

SERIES HISTORY • The Blue Devils and Pioneers are meeting for the 64th time in a series that dates back to 1971. Central holds a 37-26 edge in the series, but SHU won the season's first meeting, 67-54, on Feb. 3 at the Pitt Center.
DICKENMAN HONORED • Former CCSU head coach Howie Dickenman will be honored at halftime. He was named to the Northeast Conference Hall of Fame on Jan. 31. Dickenman won 282 games in 20 seasons, including three NEC Championships (2000, 2002, 2007). He ranks 2nd all-time with 187 NEC wins and was a 4-time Jim Phelan NEC Coach of the Year.
LAST TIME OUT • CCSU fell, 71-57, to Mount St. Mary's on Thursday. The Mountaineers shot nearly 56 percent after intermission to erase a five-point Blue Devils lead. Junior

Joe Hugley added 16 points to lead Central. The Blue Devils would hit three straight three-pointers to take their first lead of the night before pushing the lead to 26-18. Three-pointers from Hugley and junior
Austin Nehls down the stretch gave CCSU a 32-27 lead at halftime. The Mountaineers used a 10-2 run early in the second half to take the lead. CCSU would go over six minutes without a field goal, but closed within, 44-43, at the midway point of the period. Mount would use a 14-3 spurt to push the lead to double-figures and would lead by as much as 71-55 in the closing minute before a CCSU bucket closed out the scoring.
UP NEXT • CCSU travels to Saint Francis U and Robert Morris next weekend before closing out the regular season at home.
