The Central Connecticut men's basketball team travels to Wagner on Thursday night. The Blue Devils are currently tied for sixth-place in the NEC, while the Seahawks are alone atop the league standings. The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. and be broadcast live on NEC Front Row.
The Blue Devils are 12-11 overall and 5-5 in the Northeast Conference following a split of road games last week. Central ran its win streak to four games with a win at Bryant before falling in overtime at LIU Brooklyn on Saturday.
The Seahawks (15-6, 8-2 NEC) have won four straight and are in first-place in the NEC after winning at Saint Francis U and Robert Morris last weekend. Wagner has gone 10-0 in home games this season.

TODAY'S GAME • Central Connecticut continues its four-game road swing with a trip to first-place Wagner on Thursday, Feb. 1. The Seahawks have won four straight, while CCSU had its four-game win streak ended at LIU Brooklyn on Saturday.
SERIES HISTORY • The Blue Devils and Seahawks are meeting for the 46th time overall. The Seahawks swept last season's series and have won five straight games in the series. The last CCSU win came on Jan. 24, 2015, with a 53-50 triumph.

Tyler Kohl narrowly missed a triple-double with 23 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for CCSU. Central held an early 14-13 lead before LIU ran off seven straight points to take the lead it would hold for most of the rest of the game. LIU led 48-39 at halftime and the Blackbirds would score 12 straight points early in the second half to push the lead to double-figures. A pair of foul shots by Joel Hernandez made it 64-46 with 14:42 remaining, marking the largest lead of the night. Sophomore
Joe Hugley hit a three-pointer with 9:32 remaining to start a 12-3 CCSU run that would make it 71-65. Central would tie the game at 78-78 with 1:27 left before LIU hit a shot with 11 seconds left to make it 82-80. CCSU missed two foul shots with just over a second to play, but junior
Deion Bute collected the rebound and his follow as time expired would send the game to overtime. Kohl scored all seven points in overtime for Central and his foul shot with 1:45 to go put CCSU ahead 87-83. The Blackbirds would get four points from Raiquan Clark to tie the game and following a Kohl jumper, Joel Hernandez hit a three-pointer to give LIU a 90-89 lead. The Blackbirds went 4-of-4 at the line to clinch the game.
UP NEXT • CCSU travels to Sacred Heart on Saturday to wrap up its four-game road swing. The Blue Devils will host Mount St. Mary's on Feb. 8.
