The Central Connecticut men's basketball team will be looking to continue its winning ways with a trip to LIU Brooklyn on Saturday. The game will tip off at 4:30 p.m. The Blue Devils have won four straight overall and are 12-10 overall and 5-4 in the Northeast Conference following Thursday's win at Bryant.
The Blue Devils held off a second half rally by Bryant on Thursday, winning 80-74 in Smithfield, RI. The Blackbirds fell at Mount St. Mary's, 86-80, and have dropped back-to-back contests. LIU is 9-13 (4-5 NEC), but has gone 6-3 at home this season.

SERIES HISTORY • The Blue Devils and Blackbirds are meeting for the second time this season and the 44th time overall in a series that dates back to 1964. LIU Brooklyn holds a narrow, 22-21, edge in the all-time series, but CCSU has won the last two meetings. The Blue Devils won 72-63 at Detrick Gymnasium on Jan. 20.
LAST TIME OUT • Tyler Kohl led four Blue Devils in double-figures with 27 points on Thursday at Bryant in a 80-74 win on ESPN3. Central would hold a led by as much as 50-32 with 13:30 to play before the Bulldogs mounted a late charge. Bryant made 11 three-pointers in the second half and would close within 74-71 with 1:04 to play. CCSU would no surrender the lead and went 6-of-6 at the foul line in the final 33 seconds to win its fourth straight.
