Basketball Tip-Off Dinner Set for Nov. 12

The annual Central Connecticut Men's and Women's Basketball Tip-off Dinner will be held on Wednesday night, November 12, in the Constitution Room of Memorial Hall on the CCSU campus.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a cash bar.  Dinner and speeches from head women's basketball coach Beryl Piper and head men's basketball coach Howie Dickenman will follow.

Tickets for the dinner are $30 per person.  Please RSVP to Tom Pincince at (860) 832-3089 or by email to pincincet@ccsu.edu by Nov. 7 to confirm attendance.  Checks can be made payable to the CCSU Foundation and can be brought on the night of the event.

The men's basketball team will begin the season on Friday, Nov. 14th at the Connecticut 6 Classic.  The CT 6 is being held at Quinnipiac University this year.  The Blue Devils will tip-off the season vs. Fairfield  at 3 p.m.

The women's basketball team will open the season with a game at Hofstra on Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.

The women's basketball home opener is scheduled for Nov. 17 against Hartford and the men will open at home on Dec. 10 vs. Rider.  Full schedules for both teams are available below.
