Head coach Jeff McInerney has announced the addition of Travis Wright to the Central Connecticut football coaching staff.  Wright will serve as the cornerbacks coach and will be the video coordinator.

Wright spent the 2012 season working on the defensive staff at near-by Newington High School and in 2011 he coached at Berlin High School.  Wright helped Berlin to a 10-2 record with the team’s season coming to an end in the second round of the Connecticut High School Playoffs.

A 2011 graduate of Framingham State, Wright was a four-year member of the football program.  He saw action in 32 games and posted 78 tackles from his defensive end position.  He also registered 9.5 tackles for a loss and one career sack.
