Football Inks Nine On Signing Day
Blue Devils welcome seven rookies and two transfers to the program.
Central Connecticut State football coach Adam Lecthenberg announced the signing of seven National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, to go along with two transfers.
"I am incredibly excited about the kids we were able to sign in the early signing period," Lechtenberg said. "We were able to land some very talented individuals who are great people and come from incredible families. Adding size and speed on both sides of the ball was a priority for us and I think we were successful in that regard. Getting Connecticut kids is important to me, and I was happy to get some elite players to stay home and play in front of their family and friends."
The Blue Devils incoming class has four Connecticut natives among the nine. The class includes two linebackers and two defensive linemen among the four defensive players that signed on Wednesday.
