The Central Connecticut State football team travels to Providence, RI to take on Ivy League member Brown University. Game time is set for 12:00 pm.

CCSU and Brown are meeting for the second time in as many years. The Bears won the inaugural meeting at Arute Field 27-20 last fall. CCSU is 3-6 all-time against members of the Ivy League with its last win coming in 2019, a 24-14 win at Columbia.
• The CCSU defense is eighth in FCS football allowing 133.3 passing yard per game, which is second in the NEC. Brown ranks first in the nation at 359 yards in the air per game.

Davion Johnson is 42nd nationally, third in the NEC, with 105.67 all-purpose yards per game. He is the team's leading rusher, with 136 net yards and a touchdown. He leads the team with 13 receptions and is second at 44.3 yards per game receiving. Johnson also has a pair of kick returns for 48 yards and a team-best 24.0 yards per return average.

Ahmad Craig rank first and third in the NEC in sacks per games. Toatley is tops with .83 per outing and Craig is averaging 0.67 per game. The team is 22nd nationally, second in the NEC, averaging 2.67 sacks per game.

Matt Jenner made his first CCSU start at Kent State on September 16th. He has played in two games this year, completing five passes. He has rushed the ball seven times for 30 yards.

Kimal Clark had a career-high 13 stops at Kent State, his second consecutive double-digit tackle effort - and second career single-game effort in a row. Against Stonehill he became the first Blue Devil to record double-digit tackles in a game, making 10 stops. He ranks first in the NEC, 14th in FCS, with 6.0 solo stops per game, and is 20th nationally, first in the NEC, with 10.0 tackles an outing.
• The Blue Devils have the top total offense number, 367 yards per game, in the NEC. The Blue Devils had 528 yards in the opener and 420 in week two. CCSU's 28.0 points/game also leads the NEC.
• The Blue Devil defense has broken up 12 passes this season, with one interception. Seven players have at least one PBU, with
Gavin Bryson leading the way with three.

Tavian Montgomery leads the NEC at 14.7 yards per punt return, a number that is 11th in the NCAA. He had a season-long 49-yard return in the opening night win over AIC. On defense, Montgomery, a transfer from Northern Arizona, has made 11 tackles - eight solo and recorded an INT and two PBU's.
