Rose Named Northeast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Central Connecticut sophomore defensive back Dominique Rose earned Northeast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors following his two-interception performance in a 36-0 Blue Devil win over St. Francis (PA). Rose, who leads CCSU with four interceptions on the season, made his first pick on the Red Flash's first possession of the second half. His took his second interception back 85 yards for a touchdown, the first of his career, on the first play of the fourth quarter. Rose also had six tackles, including four solo stops.
