Ducatelli Named NEC Baseball Player of the Week; Borghese, Redahan Recognized
Central Connecticut outfielder Antonio Ducatelli was named Northeast Conference Baseball co-Player of the Week it was announced Tuesday. Ducatelli was also joined on the league's list of Prime Performers by Vincent Borghese and Aidan Redahan.
Ducatelli hit for the cycle over the final two games of the series against FDU and reached base safely seven times. In the Saturday and Sunday wins, he went 4-for-6 and knocked in six runs, while scoring four runs. He hit his first career homerun, a grand slam, on Saturday helping CCSU to an 11-1 win. On Sunday, Ducatelli had three hits with two more RBIs. He had a RBI-triple in the fifth inning and then added a RBI-double in the eighth to help propel the Blue Devils with a six-run inning.

Borghese tossed his second straight complete game in Saturday's 11-1 win in 7.0 innings against FDU. He has allowed just three runs ovber 19.0 innings of work in three starts, while recording 21 whiffs.

Redahan posted three multi-hit games in a sweep of FDU over the weekend. He leads the team in hits (16) and RBIs (13) and has hit a pair of homeruns.
