The Blue Devils have been active annually in supporting causes to fight Alzheimer's. Hall and the baseball program have participated in the annual event for the past five years. The walk draws thousands of people to events around the state each year and helps educate about Alzheimer's disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical trial enrollment, and support programs and services of the Alzheimer's Association. Participants also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide and several locations in Connecticut, Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
