Baseball to Host Hot Stove Dinner on Jan. 27
The Blue Devils won the 2017 Northeast Conference Championship.
The Central Connecticut baseball team will hold its 2nd Annual Hot Stove Dinner on January 27, 2018, ahead of the upcoming season. The dinner will be held at Alumni Hall on the CCSU campus. Alumni, family and friends of the program are invited to come together for a night of reconnecting and showing support of the CCSU baseball program. The evening will begin with an included cocktail hour reception featuring appetizers from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The dinner menu includes a pasta station with penne, tortellini and sauces made to order. The meal also includes a carving station with herb grilled flank steak and turkey, along with potatoes, vegetables, and a variety of breads. A dessert table with a selection of fresh fruit, cakes and other choices will also be included.
Single tickets are available for $75.00 and tables are available for $750.00.
The evening will also include a guest speaker, an auction of baseball memorabilia and other auction items.
The Blue Devils captured the Northeast Conference championship in 2017 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. CCSU posted a 36-22 record overall in 2017 and recently received votes in the Collegiate Baseball preseason poll for 2018.
The 2018 CCSU baseball season is slated to open against North Dakota State with a three-game series beginning on Feb. 23 in Port Charlotte, FL. The complete schedule is available HERE.
