Baseball's NEC Tournament Opener Postponed Thursday

Due to inclement weather, the start of the Northeast Conference baseball championship has been postponed on Thursday. Central Connecticut is now tentatively scheduled to begin play against Wagner on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT. 

The opener between Bryant and Sacred Heart is now scheduled for Friday at 3:00 p.m.

NEC CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL

The schedule has been updated, with three games now scheduled for Saturday. The winners of Friday's games will open play at 11:00 a.m., followed by the losers of the first day's games at 3:00 p.m. The loser of game three will face the winner of game four on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. The championship will be played on Sunday at 12:00 p.m., with an "if necessary" game to follow.
