Susi Earns Northeast Conference Honors
Award Winners Honored at Pre-Tournament Banquet on Wednesday.
Sophomore Brett Susi earned Second Team All-Northeast Conference honors on Wednesday night at the annual pre-tournament barbecue held at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT. In addition to the all-conference honorees, the league's Major award winners were also announced.

Susi emerged as a reliable starter for the Blue Devils as a sophomore. He appeared in 12 games, making eight starts, and posted a 4-2 record with a pair of complete games and a 3.53 ERA. Susi ranked fifth in the NEC in both ERA and complete games. In conference play he tied for fourth with four victories.
Over a five-game span Susi amassed a scoreless streak of 18.2 innings, which included a complete-game shutout at Mount St. Mary's. In the April 2 start, Susi earned a 4-0 win after holding the Mount to just four hits in seven innings. He needed just 68 pitches to complete the seven-inning game and struck out two batters. Susi also earned a 2-1 win against regular-season NEC champion Bryant on April 11 and threw a nine-inning complete game in a 6-3 win at LIU Brooklyn on May 8.
