Ingham, Frawley Named Ripken All-Stars
Pair having standout seasons for Gaithersburg
Central Connecticut baseball players Josh Ingham and Jesse Frawley have been named All-Stars in the Cal Ripken Summer League. Both players play for the Gaithersburg Giants, who are 18-11 this season and 2.5 games out of first place.
Ingham, who was an All-Conference selection on the mound for the Blue Devils following his junior season this spring, is fourth in the league in hitting at .342 for the summer. Ingham has 19 hits in 56 at-bats and has scored 13 runs while driving in 13 more. He has a pair of home runs. On the mound he has posted three saves in five appearances and has an ERA of 0.00.
Frawley is 2-0 on the season with an ERA of 1.80 in 25 innings pitched. He has made four starts in five appearances while allowing 20 hits and striking out 20 while walking just four.
The Cal Ripken All-Star game takes play on Wednesday night, July 17 at 7:30 p.m.
