Sophomore J.P. Sportman, fresh off a season in which he led the Blue Devils in hitting and was a First Team All-Northeast Conference selection, helped lead the University Division to a 5-3 victory in the NEIBL All-Star Game on Tuesday night in Brockton, MA.

Sportman went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored as the University All-Stars topped the College Division All-Stars.  The University Division is now 23-12-2 in the history of the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association game.
