The two teams met earlier in the season, and the Blue Devils pulled
off a 7-3 victory in Storrs on April 28. At the
time the Huskies had the nation's longest winning streak at 22

Blue Devils drove in a rurn in the victory. Two Blue Devil
pitchers held the Huskies to five hits in the victory. Sophomore
lefty Jason Foster and junior lefty Dave Krasnowiecki combined to
hold the Huskies to just one extra-base hit.
