was announced on Monday by the conference office. Allaire had a

on the road at Fairleigh Dickinson. He is the second Blue Devil to

Allaire was a pitcher's worst nightmare this past Sunday. Helping
Central Connecticut earn a split of its four-game NEC series
against Fairleigh Dickinson, the senior third baseman put up nine
hits and drove in nine runs during Sunday's doubleheader
sweep.
Over the entire course of the series, Allaire went 10-for-18 (.556)
at the plate with10 RBI and five runs scored. He accounted for
five extra-base hits and slugged 1.111 as CCSU opened its NEC
schedule.
He managed only one hit and one RBI in six official at-bats as CCSU
lost the first two, but rebounded with a 9-for-12 showing during a
pair of wins the following day. His bat was the driving force
behind CCSU's comeback from 6-0 down in the first half of the
double dip. Going 4-for-5 with four RBI in the eventual 11-9 win,
Allaire delivered a two-run triple and a two-run homer in
consecutive trips to the plate as the Blue Devils climbed back to
take a 9-8 lead. Needing a single for the cycle with the game tied
at 9-9, Allaire ripped a double down the left field line to move
the eventual winning run to third.
He belted another home run as part of a 5-for-7 performance in the
nightcap. He drove in five runs, scored four runs, and stole a
base to spearhead CCSU's 21-4 victory.
