Blue Devil Baseball Drops 9-7 Decision to UConn at Beehive Field

The Central Connecticut baseball team dropped a 9-7 non-conference decision to Connecticut on Wednesday after at Beehive Field in New Britain. The loss snaps a seven-game winning streak by the Blue Devils and drops them to 20-13 overall this season. Sophomore Pat Epps drove in three runs in the loss and senior Sean Connors hit a two-run home run. Junior Anthony Scialdone drove in two runs and ran his hitting streak to 23 games with a double in the seventh inning. CCSU returns to action on Friday hosting Fairleigh Dickinson at 3 p.m. at Palmer Field in Middletown.
