Devils in an 8-1 victory over Iona on Sunday morning. He went six
innings, allowing no runs, just six hits and struck out eight Gael
batters in earning his first victory of the season. All six hits
by the Gaels were singles and only one batter reached third base in
his six innings pitched. Six of his strikeouts were swinging
k's.
Kosakowski, who was 2-3 last season for the Blue Devils, retired
the side in order twice and forced two double plays in the win.
CCSU returns to action this weekend at George Washington.
