Football, Volleyball CSC Academic All-Region Teams Announced
Blue Devils have seven honorees recognized for academic success and athletic contributions
The football and volleyball Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced on Tuesday. Central Connecticut was represented by three members of the football team and four student-athletes from volleyball. on the Academic All-District Teams.

To be eligible for Academic All-District, nominees must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at the position listed on the nomination form, must have been enrolled at his/her current institution for at least one full calendar year and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Graduate students who are competing at a different institution than the one from which they earned their undergraduate degree are eligible even if they are in their first semester at the graduate institution.
The 2022 Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District teams include the student-athletes listed at the above links.
