NEC Announces 2022-23 Conference Television Package
Blue Devils teams have two games apiece on ESPN family of networks and SNY
The Northeast Conference announced the 2022-23 basketball conference television package on Thursday afternoon. The package includes 20 regular season games, 21 games on ESPN Networks, a record five NEC games on CBS Sports Network, including the first women's contest, and six NEC Tournament games. CCSU will have four television appearances as part of the NEC package.
The Blue Devil women's basketball team will host Wagner on Saturday January 21st at 12:30 pm in a game that will air on ESPN3 and SNY. SNY is available in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and northeastern Pennsylvania and is in more than 11 million households. The women's game at Sacred Heart, February 25th, is also part of the package with that game on ESPN+.
The CCSU men also have two appearances on the NEC television package, the first coming February 11 at FDU on ESPN3. Five days later the Blue Devils will host Wagner in a game on ESPN+.
All CCSU home basketball games are available for free on NEC Front Row and the NEC on the Run app. Bruce Biel and Marc Robbins are the primary broadcast team the men's games, while Jimmie Clark assumes primary play-by-play duty for the women's games. All NEC Road games, outside of those on ESPNU, CBSSN & ESPN+, will also stream on NEC Front Row and the NEC on the Run series of streaming and mobile apps.
The NEC Tournament championship games air on ESPN networks. The men's game will air on ESPN2 and the women's game on ESPNU.
