Men's soccer Senior Day and cross country mini meet highlight home events this week
The Blue Devils have four home events: volleyball, football, swimming and diving and men's soccer in the coming week.

Saturday, 10/22/22 vs. Duquesne; 12:00 pm, Arute Field

- The Blue Devils return to the gridiron after a bye week to host NEC foe Duquesne, an opponent that they are 7-7 against all-time.
- CCSU held Brown to just 17 yards rushing in the Blue Devils Homecoming game on October 8.
- Chizi Umunakwe leads the Northeast Conference, and is fifth in the NCAA, at 10.5 tackles per game.

Thursday, 10/20/22 at FDU; 7:00 pm
Sunday, 10/23/22 vs. Stonehill; 3:00 pm
- The Blue Devils will honor its Senior Class on Sunday afternoon before its match with Stonehill.
- Central is unbeaten in its last two meetings against FDU, and travel to the Knights on Thursday in a match that was postponed from last week
- Sunday's match marks the first time CCSU will take on NEC newcomer in conference play

Sunday, 10/23/22 at SHU; 12:00 pm
- Women's soccer has a lone match this week, travelling to Sacred Heart for a noon contest on Sunday.
- A Blue Devils win secures a bye into the upcoming NEC Tournament
- CCSU and SHU are meeting for the 28th time since 2002, with Central having on the last eight meeings and holding a 17-5-5 record in that span.

Tuesday, 10/18/22 vs Bryant, 7:00 pm
Friday, 10/21/22 at SHU, 5:00 pm
- The Blue Devils host former NEC opponent Bryant in a non-conference match Tuesday evening and are 17-12 since 2001 versus the Bulldogs.
- CCSU then travels to NEC front runner Sacred Heart Friday afternooon looking for the season sweep of the Pioneers.
- Isabelle Roufs earned her third NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors Tuesday morning.

Saturday, 10/22/22 vs. Stonehill; 11:00 m
- CCSU hosts NEC newcomer in the Blue Devils home dual opener on Saturday morning at Suydam Natatorium
- Cassidy Stotler won twice at the season opener at the Fairfield Invitational and earned NEC Prime Performer as a result

Friday, 10/21/22, CCSU Mini Meet; Stanley Quarter Park; Women at 3:30pm; Men at 4:00 pm
- As of Tuesday 18 teams are scheduled to take part in Friday's CCSU Mini Meet.
- Ashley Dana and James Sullivan have each won NEC Runner of the Week three times, while Salvatore Masciarelli and Mark Rodriguez have both earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors this fall.
- The men placed second at the 2021 mini meet, while the women finished in third place.
