Michael P. Ericksen, MS, C.S.C.S.,

Michael P. Ericksen, MS, C.S.C.S., assumed the role of Associate Director of Athletics for External Affairs in August 2023. In that capacity he coordinated the department's corporate partnership program and athletic alumni relations to support and enhance the student-athetel expereince.  He joined CCSU in 1997 as  Director of Sports Performance. Ericksen serves as the program administratory for the Blue Devils football team, and oversight of the sports performance staff, home event management, and athletic equipment room.

A 2000 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Ericksen earned a MS in physical education/exercise science. Ericksen is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds a club coaching certificate from the United States Weightlifting Federation. He was a three-time captain of the rugby club at CCSU.

Ericksen and his wife, Andrea, have three sons, Jack, Luke and Michael.
