Bio

Chris Strahowski begins his first year at CCSU as Academic Advisor to both the CCSU women's soccer and swimming and diving teams. Strahowski holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree and graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2008.

A former Blue Devil, Strahowski was a four-year starter on the CCSU baseball team from 1992-1995. Following his time at Central, Strahowski enjoyed a five-year career in the minor leagues before becoming the head baseball coach at Manchester Community College in Manchester, CT.

In addition to advising CCSU student-athletes, Strahowski is also in his 14th year of teaching all levels of math, from algebra to calculus, at Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, CT.

Strahowski currently resides in Wallingford, CT with his wife Lauren and his three children, Aidan, Delayna and Fallyn.
