Bio

Amy Strickland enters her 10th year as the Associate Athletics Director of Compliance and Senior Women's Administrator at Central Connecticut. In addition to her duties in the compliance area, Strickland serves as sport administrator overseeing the volleyball, men's golf, women's basketball and men's and women's cross country and track and field programs. She serves on the Northeast Conference Sports Management Committee, Volleyball and Swimming Committees and she is also the Northeast Conference liaison to the NCAA Legislative Council.

Prior to CCSU, Strickland was the Compliance Coordinator at the University of Maryland, College Park from 1998 through 2004. She provided oversight for initial eligibility, roster management, recruiting and admissions along with numerous other duties.

Strickland received her Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Central in 1997. She also completed an internship with the United States Olympic Committee for the National Junior College Athletic Association for a semester prior to her graduation.

A former volleyball student-athlete at CCSU, Strickland, and her husband Christian, currently live in Middletown, CT with their two children, Andrew and Cole.
